Greg's Pro Moving is a family-owned San Antonio crew moving homes, apartments, and offices all over the metro, out to the Hill Country, and long-distance across Texas. Everything rides on our own trucks with our own movers, at one price on paper instead of a clock that keeps climbing.

A number set before we ever pull up

Around here most crews quote an hourly rate and let the meter write your bill. We do the opposite: a firm figure in writing before a truck leaves the yard, with the packing, any storage, and the Texas heat already worked into it.

Walk us through it

Walk us through the home, the stairs and the driveway, and the dates you have in mind, by phone, on a video call, or in person.

Get one figure

A single flat price comes back from the San Antonio office, most often the same working day you get in touch.

Say yes on your terms

Asking runs you nothing. You put it on the books only when the price and the date both suit you.

Who pulls up

Our trucks. Our movers. Nobody sublet.

Your job is never auctioned to a broker, farmed out to day-labor, or dropped on somebody you have never met. The movers at your door draw a paycheck from Greg, and every truck out front is ours, lettered with our name, stocked, and kept up in our own San Antonio shop.

  • On our payrollTrained, background-checked movers who load San Antonio homes every week of the year.
  • One team the whole wayThe same movers load, drive, unload, and set down, so nothing falls through a hand-off.
  • Careful comes standardFurniture under pads, runners across the floors, and door frames wrapped before anything is lifted.
Everything we move

What we handle

Built for San Antonio

Triple-digit heat, the Loops, and Hill Country drives, all planned for

A move here has its own quirks: a July afternoon well past a hundred degrees, Loop 410 and 1604 stacked up at rush hour, and everything from downtown historic homes to gated Stone Oak. We work around each one and still land your window.

Texas-heat ready

Summer jobs start early and load quick, so nothing sits roasting on the driveway while the crew works.

🛣

Loop-timed windows

We schedule around Loop 410, 1604, and I-35 so a traffic snarl never swallows your move day.

King William and Monte Vista historic homes to gated Stone Oak and Boerne, with access sorted ahead.

Recent moves around San Antonio

A few jobs our own crews have taken on lately around the metro and the Hill Country: pianos, safes, appliances, and whole households, every one wrapped and moved the way we do it.

What San Antonio says

Reviews from across the metro

I reached out to a few moving companies because I needed a few furniture items delivered from my apartment to another apartment across town. Other companies were quoting $250-$300 plus a trip charge. Greg's Pro Moving delivered the items for a flat rate of $100, and it was on Mother's Day! They were ready and available, professional and fast, and most of all courteous. I will most definitely use them for all of my moves in the future!

I hired Greg to move some of my appliances to my new home and I'm so glad I did! He was prompt and, most importantly, careful with my delicate washing machine. He even hooked it all up. My freezer was full and heavy and I was happy he and his teammate were able to move it quickly so everything stayed frozen. Honest, reliable, and gets the job done. I highly recommend him!

Great response time! Showed up when expected and worked quickly to move everything in a timely manner. Honest about prices, which we felt were very fair. The crew that came to move us were very friendly guys who were as careful with my things as I would be.

Greg's Pro Moving was fantastic! They arrived early and started right away. They truly went above and beyond, were fast and efficient, very careful, and even offered to fix a dresser of mine that had been broken for years. They also hauled off some old furniture for us, which saved us a ton of time and money. I would recommend them to anyone and hire them again!

These guys were fantastic, did a great job, worked hard, and made moving super easy. They really took their time making sure nothing was damaged and had the experience to get large furniture around tight spaces. The whole crew was friendly. I would definitely hire them again.

Our word on it

The Greg’s Pro Moving promise

When a move slips, fixing it is on us, no excuses. That buys you a promised arrival window, a claims process laid out in everyday words, and a crew that looks after your home the way they would their own abuela’s.

✔ Punctual — we hit the window we gave you, or you get a call before we ever run late.

✔ The price is the price — sign it once and that is the figure, top to bottom.

✔ Claims done straight — anything noted is logged on the spot and settled on paper.

✔ No hidden line items — gas, miles, and stair carries already live in the number.

San Antonio moving FAQ

How is the flat price locked in?

We size the figure to what you are actually moving and how hard the access is, put it in writing, and hold it there. Provided the load matches what you walked us through, move day rings up to the exact figure you signed.

Do you use your own movers or subcontractors?

Our own, every time. Greg fields a trained crew on our own trucks, so no broker skims a cut, no day-labor turns up, and nobody you have never met steps into your home.

Do you still move through the San Antonio summer heat?

Every week of it. We take the early slots when we can, keep pieces out of the direct sun, and load fast so nothing sits baking on a hundred-degree driveway. Your window holds whether it is a July scorcher or a mild December day.

Do you move pianos and gun safes?

Yes, and it is already inside your flat price. Those bulky, hard-to-handle pieces travel on the right board with the correct straps and padding, in the hands of movers who have carried plenty of them.

Do you have climate storage if there is a gap?

Yes. Your things go into a clean, climate-controlled space, from a week to the better part of a year, and the cost rides inside your written price instead of arriving as a separate bill down the road.

Can you deal with downtown COIs and building rules?

Yes. Plenty of downtown and Alamo Heights buildings, along with a lot of gated communities, want a Certificate of Insurance and a booked elevator. Send over the building rules and we handle the COI and lock in the freight window in advance.

Do you serve the gated communities and Hill Country?

All the time. Spots like Stone Oak, Boerne, and Helotes come with gate check-ins, HOA move windows, and long ranch drives, and we set those up in advance so nothing keeps the truck waiting.

How much notice do you need?

A week or two suits most moves, and the month-ends and the first fill up soonest. When a crew has an opening we will still take a same-week or next-day job, so a quick call to check is always worth it.

Is there a deposit?

Just a small refundable one to reserve your crew and your date, and nothing else. The rest is settled after the job wraps, and the estimate never costs you a thing.

How do you deal with San Antonio traffic?

We plan for it. The drive gets timed against Loop 410, Loop 1604, and I-35, we dodge the worst of rush hour where it is possible, and the window we promised still holds.

Who we are

Family-owned, San Antonio-based

Greg Salazar built Greg’s Pro Moving around one truck and a straightforward idea: hand folks a real number on paper and honor it, hundred-degree heat or not. He is still out there with the crew today, on our own trucks, moving San Antonio families and offices across the metro and up into the Hill Country.
